The hardware element of the total Eniscope solution is a bespoke, highly accurate better than Class One Meter that is compact, robust and reliable. Our out-of-the-box approach to Energy Management means that every meter we install comes pre-loaded with a Real-time display… just open up your favourite web-browser and you can instantly navigate to any number of meters in your building.
With a tolerance of plus or minus one digit the Eniscope meter is more accurate than the standard grade revenue meters supplied by the utility companies. This means it can be used to check the accuracy of all your existing meters.
Eniscope is certainly very powerful… it can actually gather information on over 100 different electrical parameters. Put simply - if it’s measurable - then Eniscope will already be measuring it and using the salient information to feed the valuable data directly into Nucleus, which is our central secure ‘hub’.
The Eniscope meter is unique for a number of reasons :
First; because it has its own internal ‘web-server’ this means information can be stored, collated and then exported to the World Wide Web with the utmost convenience, at which point it can be accessed securely from anywhere in the world.
Second; it is a complete plug-and-play solution that can be installed by any competent electrician, and be up and running in a few hours! Furthermore because it is web-enabled it can be upgraded with any software enhancements remotely.
Third; unlike the so-called ‘smart’ meters, our Eniscope Meters are gathering information and exporting data in REAL, real-time… literally as it happens. It is also measuring ALL the important parameters. Unlike lesser mortals… we do not ‘assume’ or ‘guess’ important parameters like Voltage… we measure everything with pinpoint accuracy.
Fourth; it’s very flexible... You can start your energy management programme with just one single meter on either the whole supply – or one area of the building – or even one critical piece of equipment. Thereafter, as you begin to appreciate the benefits of having everything totally transparent you can add as many additional sub-meters as you like and they can be easily integrated together. This means that all the current and historical information can be viewed simultaneously via our Analytics Software – whether it’s within the same facility or a completely different location.
All Eniscope meters are manufactured in the United Kingdom (EU) or North America, (NA) to the highest possible standards and are fully CE compliant. We also have a dedicated USA version with full UL approval.
Eniscope EU also comes as standard with two volt-free outputs on each interface which can be configured to remotely turn equipment off to save energy or avoid peak demand penalties. Soon, the Real-time software will be further updated to include the ability to pre-set various parameters whereby the remote switching will be done automatically to save energy on specific non-essential applications.
The Eniscope Meter in effect captures the ‘raw’ data second by second to power the Real-time display, this granular information can also be simultaneously exported to Nucleus and then extrapolated by our historical Analytics software and presented as full colour graphics – the choice is yours.

The real-time kilowatt dial gives you instant feedback on your actual energy use at any moment in time. If you exceed your ideal consumption level the dial changes colour to warn you of potential waste.
Unlike other devices, such as ‘smart meters’, Eniscope delivers genuine real-time performance... make a change and it will show you the immediate effect... for better or for worse. Now you can monitor individual pieces of equipment, isolate energy leaks, expose energy abusers and even check the effectiveness of energy saving products you may wish to evaluate.
The Power Trend, a real-time graphing function, offers a unique insight into your recent history. Displaying your building’s 'energy heartbeat' helps you to understand your pattern of consumption so it becomes easy to recognize and eliminate waste. Use it to compare the consumption of your equipment in various modes or to check that your automated systems are functioning correctly. It will even reveal power surges so you can take steps to protect your system and avoid costly peak demand penalties from the utility company.
The real-time voltage and power factor dials perform a continuous check on the health of your energy supply. Any variation outside of acceptable parameters triggers an instant warning. This information, which is not available with a standard smart meter, can be critical to your ability to implement a robust energy saving programme.
Excess voltage not only adds significantly to your running costs… if your voltage is too high or too low it can damage your equipment. Poor power factor can lead to crippling distribution charges from your utility company and it will shrink the effectiveness of your supply. Eniscope Analytics
Eniscope Analytics is a web-based, energy diagnostics tool that gives you rich insights into your 'historical' energy consumption and the health of your power supply. This can be compared over days, weeks, months or even several years.
Intelligent, flexible & easy to use… Making energy information easy to access and simple to understand. Using your favorite web browser you can do a detailed energy analysis on any equipment, in any building, in any country, at any time... and all from the comfort of your personal computer or mobile device
The Analytics home screen greets you with a dashboard displaying at a glance how much energy you have used, what it has cost you and what it has cost the environment in carbon emissions – for any selected period.
You are also alerted to your current performance and hourly consumption rate in comparison to a similar period in the recent past.
Any information displayed in Analytics can be instantly printed off to create a report or downloaded to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Click on the Power tab and you begin to understand the strength and flexibility of Eniscope Analytics. The system will automatically aggregate your data together but at the click of a button you can isolate or compare individual meters. This makes Analytics the ideal tool for understanding and comparing the consumption of different buildings, departments, floors and zones... You can even keep tabs on individual pieces of equipment. Visualizing your energy in this way allows you to see exactly where it's going and highlights the biggest opportunities for savings.
The ability to compare multiple meters is showcased by the Pie Chart tab… Now you don't have to settle for the vague 'one lump sum' information offered by your utility company. Eniscope Analytics enables you to see and understand the make-up of your energy consumption so you know exactly what you are spending your money on and why.
The Energy tab is where you get a more traditional view of your energy consumption... If you are measuring by building or department you can use this data to apportion costs, which helps occupants to become more responsible for the energy they use. It also means you can target reductions and monitor progress for specific areas of your organization.
You can also use this area to pick up on trends and anomalies such as power surges that can lead to peak demand penalties.
The Costs tab converts your energy data into a language that everybody understands - money! It even provides a forecast of what you are likely to spend over the coming week and month so you can budget accordingly or take steps to reduce your consumption. All of the information is displayed in the currency of your choice and you can select a limitless number of tariff options to ensure that your data is highly accurate and matches what you are likely to see on your utility bill.
The Amps, Voltage & Power Factor tabs will take your understanding of your energy consumption to a whole new level. Are unbalanced phases about to expose you to massive equipment failure?
